In this seven day long musical retreat, Barbara Swetina (Findhorn) and Joachim Goerke (Germany) combine their many gifts to create a unified heart field through the magical power of music.
From listening to Joachim’s exquisite piano playing and immersing ourselves in the rich harmonies of community singing, to sharing musical rituals and heartfelt blessings through dances from around the world, we are building a
Sacred World Culture of respect and love for all beings, within the magnetic field of the Universal Hall at the world-renowned Park Ecovillage Findhorn.
Time in nature, stillness and the transformative essence of sound lead us back to the memory of our divine origin.

Your Facilitators:
Originally from Vienna she has been a long-standing musical director in the Scottish Eco-Village Findhorn and has built up an international singing and dancing culture for peace. She plays 7 instruments, authors CD's and songbooks, writes her own songs and teaches internationally.
Her love of music is contagious and can transform a group of people unknown to each other into a many-voiced choir within minutes.
Through her own challenges in reading music, she developed the MusicTrain Adventure in Hawaii, a game and holistic learning system that showcases a new paradigm for teaching and learning, based on fun and play.
In 1990 he began to work with voice and founded the Choir "Clangvarben". When he met the Singer Rhiannon from the US (Member of the Circle-Tour with Bobby Mc Ferrin), he started to explore "Circlesinging", and did Tours in Germany together with Rhiannon.
Since 2000 he has created many Mantra Songs in the German language as an expression of his own spiritual path. In colaboration with the Dutch dancer Nani Kloke he produced many of them also in English language (CD Religio Reconnection).
He has also created his own Voicework, which he calls "The power of Vowels" Nowadays he is also a teacher of Meditation and Self inquiry.

Other Ways to Make It Possible
We welcome creative suggestions for ways you could support us in exchange for a reduced tuition fee, such as helping to promote the retreat or connect us with potential participants.
Bursaries may also be available once the minimum number of participants has been reached.

Yes, you’re welcome to do your own thing!
Half-board:
Lunch will be provided by the Phoenix Café, and dinner will be prepared by our exclusive chef, Antonia. More details about the menu and pricing will be available soon.
Please indicate your preferred catering option in the registration form. You can choose to book just lunch, just dinner, or both, of course!
Accommodation:
To help you organise your accommodation, we offer several options.
Particularly if this is your first time in Findhorn, booking accommodation through us as part of your retreat registration is the easiest option. Your accommodation can be arranged alongside your retreat booking, giving you one less thing to worry about!
We offer a range of beautiful accommodation options, from £48 to £100 per night, depending on your choice of room (single, twin or shared) and whether you’d like breakfast included. Availability is limited, so we recommend booking early to secure your preferred option. We'll share further details about the accommodation available through us during registration.
If you'd prefer to arrange your own accommodation, you're very welcome to do so. We can point you towards local B&Bs and hostels that may still have availability, although you would need to book directly with them.
Alternatively, if you're a returning visitor to Findhorn and have built up a local network, you might be able to stay with friends. For those who enjoy a more rustic experience, camping is available in the Findhorn Hinterlands for £5 per night.

1) Book Accommodation Through Us:
The easiest option, especially if this is your first time in Findhorn! You can book your retreat and accommodation together through the registration form. We offer a range of beautiful accommodation options, from £48 to £100 per night, depending on your choice of room (single, twin or shared) and whether you’d like breakfast included.
Availability is limited, so we recommend booking early. Your accommodation will be confirmed in accordance with the booking arrangements.
2) Stay with Friends:
If you have friends in Findhorn or have built up a local network through previous visits, staying with them can be a lovely way to connect with the local community.
3) B&B or Local Hostel:
We can guide you towards local B&Bs and hostels that may still have availability. You would book directly with them, giving you the flexibility to explore a wider choice of options.
More details about local B&Bs and hostels will be shared upon registration.
3) Camping in the Findhorn Hinterlands:
For those who enjoy a more rustic experience, camping is available in the Findhorn Hinterlands for £5 per night.
Please contact the Land Manager, Kajedo, directly at landmanager@findhornhinterland.org to arrange your stay.
Registration:
Please fill out the registration form to register for the retreat.
Once you've submitted the form, Carolin, your admin and organisation angel, will get in touch within 48 hours to confirm the details, answer any questions and arrange payment.
Your retreat place will be secured once your payment has been received. Accommodation bookings will be confirmed in accordance with the accommodation booking arrangement
